The EX/ATEX certified Rustibus X1200 Air is a modified version of our Rustibus 1200 Air machine to meet EX/ATEX regulation. This machine is a part of our extensive Rustibus EX/ATEX Series and has been purposefully designed to adhere to safety standards necessary for operating in settings where there's a risk of explosive atmospheres.
Following rigorous and intensive testing, all the Rustibus EX/ATEX machines are endorsed by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), receiving certification for compliance with the EX/ATEX 94/9/EC directive. As a result, they are suitable for deployment on tanker vessels, FPSOs, offshore platforms, and onshore oil and gas installations.
With its generous 120 mm work width and light weight, the Rustibus X1200 Air has quickly gained popularity among our clients. Its sturdy construction and ergonomic design ensure optimal performance for effectively descaling and power brushing medium to large surface areas on board vessels.
At Rustibus, we take pride in producing machines that are made with ethically sourced materials, built to last for generations and require minimal maintenance. Our machines are designed to be user-friendly and can be operated at dock and during sailing.
The main consumable part is the Disposable Chain Drum. Average lifespan per chain drum is 225 m2. Varying between 200-225 m2 depending on surface.
