Product overview
The EX/ATEX certified Rustibus X2000 Air is a modified version of our Rustibus 2000 Air machine to meet EX/ATEX regulation. This machine is a part of our extensive Rustibus EX/ATEX Series and has been purposefully designed to adhere to safety standards necessary for operating in settings where there's a risk of explosive atmospheres.
Following rigorous and intensive testing, all the Rustibus EX/ATEX machines are endorsed by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), receiving certification for compliance with the EX/ATEX 94/9/EC directive. As a result, they are suitable for deployment on tanker vessels, FPSOs, offshore platforms, and onshore oil and gas installations.
With its unique rotating chain drum system, this machine is capable of effectively de-scaling and power brushing hatch covers, tank tops, and other surfaces. Its high-quality construction and ergonomic design make it an ideal choice for the marine industry, and it has been specifically created to cater to the needs of de-scaling large surface areas in a fast and efficient manner.
At Rustibus, we take pride in producing machines that are made with ethically sourced materials, built to last for generations and require minimal maintenance. Our machines are designed to be user-friendly and can be operated at dock and during sailing.
The main consumable part is the Disposable Chain Drum. Average lifespan per chain drum is 500 m2. Varying between 300-700 m2 depending on surface.
Delivered ready for use with; 1 Chain drum already installed and operation/safety manual.
